Golden Peacock Clock Hermitage Museum

Catherine II acquired the Golden Peacock Clock in 1781 from England now on display in the State Hermitage Museum. The automaton clock has several moving parts including a peacock, a cockerel or rooster, an owl, a mushroom and a squirrel.
