Marcel Hug, #202 from Switzerland, leads the wheelchair followed by Daniel Romachuck #201 from USA. Romachuck was the overall winner. Over 35,000 runners competed in the Chicago Marathon October 10, 2021. Last year’s race was cancelled due to health concerns for runners, spectators and volunteers. Registered participants had to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or negative test results.
