Wentworth Gardens public housing

Annie Ricks and her family were the last residents to move out from the Cabrini Green low income high rise building. They moved to Wentworth Gardens, a public housing project that Ricks claims is not safe for her family. Ricks said she spent much of her time sitting at the kitchen window of her second-floor apartment, watching the courtyard. She keeps her shoes nearby in case she has to hurry out to protect her children.
